This Week’s $10 Tuesday Tasting: The Ultimate Kinda/Sorta Harvest Ale Tasting

We have a lot of favorite Harvest Ales we’d love to feature, but we also have some favorites that are worthy of a taste. Thus, our favorite $10 Tuesday Tasting guide Mike Lovullo returns to tempt you with some of his favorite Harvest (and “kinda/sorta” harvest) beers. Scheduled for tomorrow are:

  • Bronx Rye Pale Ale Draft
  • Bronx Pale Ale in Bourbon Barrels bottles
  • White Birch Hooksett bottles
  • Two Brothers Bonfire bottles
  • White Birch Tavern Ale bottles
  • AleSmith Wee Heavy bottles

Please join Mike at 7:30 p.m. (we start on time for this event) and, as always, regular bar service is available for those not wanting to partake of the $10 Tuesday Tasting.

Today’s Thursday Tap™ – Baird Brewing’s Red Rose Amber Ale

Brian Baird has brought a little bit of Americana to his Japanese brewpub, Fishmarket Taproom, and for today’s Thursday Tap™  we’re bringing a bit of Japan back to Jimmy’s No. 43 with Baird Brewing’s Red Rose Amber Ale. This 5.4% ABV offers a nice blend of floral citrus hops and a caramel finish. As always, we tap at 5 p.m. And as always, it’s while supplies of this interesting and unusual beer last.

We’re Loving Today’s Thursday Tap™: Loverbeer’s D’Uva

Beer made with grapes? Sounds fine by us! This week’s Thursday Tap™ is d’Uva by Loverbeer, an 8% ABV strong dark sour, brewed with grape must in the tradition of an Oude brew. The sweetness of the must offsets the fermented sourness of the beer, making a well-balanced and perfect end-of-summer beer. We’ll be tapping at 5 p.m. and, as always, this interesting and unusual brew is available while supplies last.
