Can’t Make It to BCTC? We’ve Got Your Summer Saisons!

Who says “summer’s almost over”? Not us! While some of our staff (and Jimmy) are heading up to Ommegang for Belgium Comes to Cooperstown, we’re making sure all the city slickers can get theirs, as well, with a Summer Saison weekend. Today through Sunday, we’ll have Ommegang and other summer beers on tap for your enjoyment all weekend long. Celebrate the Summer Saison with us, as we tap the following kegs:

  • Ommegang Fleur de Houblon – 6.8% ABV Belgian style pale ale
  • Elysian Brewing Oddland Peppercorn Saison – 7.0% Saison from Seattle, WA
  • Wild Beer Co.’s Somerset Saison – 5.0% Saison from the U.K.

And we’ll have plenty more great beers in rotation and available in bottles. Regular bar/restaurant service also available.

It’s International IPA Day: Bear Republic’s Crazy Ivan For Thursday Tap™

It’s all about the hops! Today is International IPA Day, and Jimmy’s No. 43 is getting on board with Bear Republic’s Republic Brewing’s Crazy Ivan, a Belgian IPA (6.0% ABV) that will be going on at 5 p.m. for today’s Thursday Tap™.

Bear Republic says this beer “took a wild left turn when we fermented it with our favorite Trappist ale yeast. Charged with hops, followed closely by a clove and pepper Belgian yeast character.”

We’ll have plenty more where that came from, plus regular bar/restaurant service is available, too. Stop in and see why the Village Voice’s Fork in the Road thinks you’ll be happy celebrating with an IPA at Jimmy’s No. 43!
