November is Belgian beer month, and we have a great line-up of Belgian beers and events featuring them coming up over the next couple of weeks.
First up, tonight’s Tuesday Tasting ($20 at the bar at 7:30… don’t be late!) will offer six Belgians (or Belgian-style beers) to tempt your tastebuds, including:
- Saison Dupont
- Westmalle Dubbel
- Orval
- Green Flash Rayon Vert from San Diego
- Ommegang Game of Thrones (NY State)
- Stillwater Saison (Baltimore)
Next week, we’ll be seeing the return of Bacon & Belgians, when John Holl comes to co-host a beer dinner on Wednesday, November 13th, at 7:00 p.m. We’ll be featuring recipes from his book, , The American Craft Beer Cookbook, but adding bacon for a porky twist. And, of course, we’ll be pairing each of the five courses with a Belgian (or Belgian-style) beer. Get your tickets here (our past two dinners have sold out, so don’t delay!).
And perhaps we’ve saved the best for last, because on Saturday, November 16th from 1-4 p.m. we’ll have the 4th Annual Battle of the Belgians. You’ll be sampling the world’s best Belgians in this walk-around tasting that features brunch bites and dozens of beers from the U.S., Switzerland, France and – of course – Belgium (for last year’s list, click here).
