Amateur and professional chefs will face off in our 4th Annual Cassoulet Cookoff. Among the professional chefs that will be competing are Green Brown Orange’s Alejandro Alcocer, Chris Ronis of Northern Spy, and, of course, Jimmy’s No. 43. Amateur chefs in the line-up include Adrian Ashby, Serena Norr and Laura Luciano.
Both judges and people’s choice awards will be handed out. Judges, so far, include: Cassoulet Cook Off 2011 winner Andrew Gottlieb; Writer Cathy Erway (Not Eating Out in NY); and Matt Timms (Chilitakedown.com). Prizes for Judges’ Choice & People’s Choice provided by Anolon Nouvelle Cookware and Wüsthof Knives!
Tickets are $20 with all door proceeds benefiting the Greenmarket’s Farm Hurricane Relief Fund.
