Join us for a five-course “Taiwanese Pub Dinner” celebrating the delicious cuisine of Taiwan! Not Eating Out enthusiast Cathy Erway has a new cookbook, The Food of Taiwan, which will be available for purchase (additional) at the event. Or just come for the family-style meal that will be prepared by the author and served in a unique and intimate gathering, co-sponsored by TAP NYC.

A specialty cocktail, invented by sommelier Belinda Chang, will be included with the price of the meal. Other drinks from the bar will be available for purchase.

Taiwanese Pub Dinner Menu (subject to change):

  • Specialty Cocktail with Taiwan Beer and Kavalan Whisky
  • Amuse-Bouche (surprise)
  • Steamed Clams with Rice Wine, Chilies and Basil
  • San Bei Ji Wings
  • Popcorn Fried King Oyster Mushrooms
  • Taiwanese Hamburger (aka gua bao, with pork belly)
  • Pineapple Cake a la Mode
