Jimmy’s No. 43 Welcomes Savor!

Jimmy’s No. 43 is happy to welcome both locals and out of town visitors here for Savor (this Friday, Saturday… tickets remain available here). We’re welcoming special guests through the weekend, not to mention a lot of interesting and unusual beers (both on draught and in the bottle).  Among our featured offerings:

  • The Thursday Tap™ – 5 p.m. today we’ll be tapping Ominpollo’s Agamemnon, a 12.5% Imperial Stout
  • Pre-Savor Bootcamp – Don’t know your diacetyl from your isoamyl acetate? No worries, as we have Cicerones in the house tonight to get you up to speed on all-things-beer. Plus, we welcome special guest Anne-Catherine Dilewyns, Belgium’s youngest brewer, will kick things off with her Vicaris Tripel, teaching how to hone your palate, listen to the hops, feel the malts, explore the fermentation, and taste the beer’s whole story. (TICKETS HERE)
  • The Launch of Barrier Brewing-Carton Brewing Savor Collaboration Beer – Friday (6/14) afternoon, we’ll have Barrier Brewing in attendance as we tap their special collaboration beer (made with NJ’s Carton Brewing), “Sav’r for Later,”  a Cherry-Blossom/Hibiscus Saison. Jimmy’s No. 43 is one of a handful of bars where you’ll be able to get this brew!
  • Pre- and Post-Savor Parties – On Friday and Saturday, we’ll be hosting parties before and after Savor. Be sure to wrap things up Saturday night with Port Jeff Brewing at our post-Savor after party.

And, of course, we’ll have a great list of interesting and unusual beers on the menu throughout the weekend. Regular bar/restaurant service remains available, as well.
