Spanish Beer Dinner A Roaring Success!

Last night’s Spanish beer dinner with guest chef Patti Jackson, beers from Iberian United, and cider from Rowan Imports was the best Monday night dinner to date! If you want to join in the fun, we’ll be hosting our five-course prix fixe dinner twice a month at least until summer. In fact, tickets are on sale now for our all-fish (no meat) New Orleans dinner on February 11th.

Can’t wait that long? Come in for tonight’s Tuesday Tasting or just drop by for some of the amazing brews and ciders we had last night. Most are still available a la carte. See what you missed, below!

The first course? Boquerones with Cauliflower Crema and Chicory paired with Trigo, an artisanal draft beer by Grisberga (from Huesca in northern Spain):

Second course was a  Tortilla Española with Bacalao and Potato Chips, which was paired with L’Anjub Cerveceria’s Lug (from Catalunya):

Beer parings included this L’anjub Lug (next to Rowan Imports’ cider):

Next was an assortment of Jamon Seranno Croquetas y Patatas paired with a Sagra Pils draft (from Toledo):

The fourth course was a delicious Cocido Gallego Pork Belly with Chickpeas and Kale, which was paired with Val d’Ornón, an unfiltered Sidra from Rowan Imports:

Jimmy helped out at the bar, singing while he uncorked Sidre:

Finally, it was Mar Y Muntanya: Braised Rabbit and Shrimp With Chorizo, which was paired with with Juliett on draft (also from L’Anjub Cerveceria):

Thanks to Jessica (above) and Johnny of Iberian United, and John (behind Jessica) and Anthony from Rowan Imports for a great night out!
