We’re Tapping Casks for Oktoberfest + German Lunch for $15!

For the next few Saturdays, while supplies last, Jimmy’s No. 43 will be hosting “The Real Oktoberfest” with a rotation of German gravity casks, sausages and pretzels. We’re sourcing a full selection of Flying Pigs Farm sausages (brats, chorizo, etc.) and whipping up German potato salad (bacon alert!) to go on the side. Plus, from 1-5 p.m. Saturday afternoon, $15 gets you one Oktoberfest cask ale, sausage and potato salad. It’s a German lunch deal you can’t beat!

Specific casks we’ll be tappying include:

  • Weissenohe Bioland Export
  • Mahr’s Unfiltered Pils
  • Weissenohe Bonator
  • Löwenbräu Buttenheim Kellerbier
  • Krauss Lager Hell
  • Mahr’s Ungespundet

Also, pay as you go, pair as you like, with regular bar/restaurant service available.

On a side note, the beers—which come from Shelton Brothers Imports—are very sessionable. While we don’t recommend taking his advice, Joel Shelton admits, “I once drank six liters at Oktoberfest and then drove. No problem!”

So drink (but don’t drive) like a Bavarian, and celebrate The Real Oktoberfest like a good German beer lover should. While supplies last.
