This week’s Thursday Tap™ is a doozy: Alvinne’s Melchior, a Calvados Barrel Oak Aged a Belgian Strong Ale with a 10% ABV and brewed with mustard seeds. Melchior is one of Picobrouwerij Alvinne’s three “magi” beers (along with Balthazaar and Gaspar). Despite the high ABV, this is a great summer beer and absolutely delicious!
