When In Spain… Iberian Beers and Spanish Cider Week!

Jessica and Johnny from Iberian United share the spotlight with Jimmy Carbone at a recent event.

It’s going to be a great week exploring what is happening on the craft beer scene in Spain. Apparently, the answer is… a lot! Beginning tonight, Jimmy’s No. 43 will host an Iberian Beer & Spanish Cider Prix Fixe Dinner (one seating at 7 p.m.; a handful of tickets remain) with guests Chef Patti Jackson (f/o i Truilli) and Jessica Garcia-Agullo and  Johnny “Brilliant” Collins of Iberian United Importers.

Then tomorrow evening at 7:30 p.m., we’ll be launching our new Tuesday Tastings with select beers of Iberian United ($20 at the bar gets you samples of 6+ interesting and unusual Spanish beers). We’ll also have Spanish ciders from Rowan Importers to round out the offerings. In fact, you can join John “Rowan” for special samples on Thursday night when we host the return of Slow U’s Aw Shucks, Oyster Shuck and Talk (tickets still available).

We’ll have regular bar/restaurant service offering these amazing beers, ciders and select menu items throughout the week, so be sure to drop by Jimmy’s No. 43 for a little bit of “rain” from Spain!
