Halloween Night At Jimmy’s No. 43

After the trick comes the treat: Because of Hurricane Sandy, we weren’t able to have our annual Halloween celebration on the 31st. So it’s gonna be Halloween in November. Come in costume and celebrate the treat of having the power on.

Also, we’ll be restocking the kitchen today for a limited menu. We’ll have award winning cheeses and bread from Bobolink farms, assorted sausages from Flying Pigs Farm, burgers made from beef sourced by Fleisher’s Grass-Fed and Organic Meats, and veggies from Todd Hardie’s farm in Vermont. We’ll also have our Bahn Mi Hot Dogs and Grilled Cheese from the regular menu.

All 12 draught lines are up and running, plus we have a nice selection of wine and ciders. Join us!

WE’VE GOT THE POWER!!!

Where was Jimmy when the lights went out? Who cares? We’re open. Full bar service (tap/bottle beer + wine) and free pretzels. Tyler is tending bar. Show him some love and buy a pint (or 3). You won’t walk home in the dark!

Dear Friends…

As you are probably aware by now (especially if you’re reading this, you have the power!), we have been really hurt by Hurricane Sandy and the subsequent loss of power. Jimmy’s No. 43 has always been a friend in deed; not wanting to boast about good deeds, but we’ve raised thousands for relief when Hurricane Irene came through and hurt our local farmers last year and a few months before that when the tsunami destroyed breweries in northern Japan. We love that we’ve been on the front lines helping others in difficult times.

Now, instead of being a friend in deed, we’re a friend in need. We’re doing everything we can to get power restored to the bar; we hope to have a generator up and running by Friday. In the meantime, you can truly help us out by buying a ticket to one (or more) of our amazing fall events. THESE EVENTS WILL HAPPEN. We’re down, but not out. We’ll also have some kind of gift program for the holidays, so consider a Jimmy’s No. 43 gift card as a stocking stuffer (or Hanukkah gift) this year. We don’t have a link up, but you can mail checks in the amount of $25, $50 or $100 for gift certificates (be sure to include your mailing address + we’ll keep your name on file) to:

JPG STYLE CORP (please make checks out to this business)

These ticket sales may make the difference for us, so we hope you’ll check out the list below.

We thank you for your love, prayers and support during this crisis. Hope to see you at the bar very soon!

Standing By…

As most of you have heard, there was a big blow out at the ConEd relay station on 14th. We’re working to get a generator for us and Standings. When we have power, we’ll be back up and pouring great craft beer! Cool temps are a blessing. Thanks for the good thoughts coming our way.
