Getting Your Cider On: Four Screws Cider From Critz Farms For Today’s Thursday Tap™

It’s still feeling a bit muggy out there (despite the drop in temps), so for today’s Thursday Tap™, we’re pulling out a great new cider from Critz Farms in Cazenovia, NY. Their Harvest Moon Four Screws Cider “is crafted from a special blend of sweet and tart dessert apples pressed on our 1890′s rack and cloth Four Screw Press. We are proud to offer farm visitors a bit of history with this Syracuse-built antique. Sweetened with pure maple syrup, Four Screw’s subtle fruitiness and complex flavor is highlighted when served with local New York cheeses.”

And coming up this weekend, we’ll be putting on a few more interesting and unusual beers. Be on the lookout for new beers from Barrier Brewing and Jolly Pumpkin’s Weizen Bam. Pair with our summer menu featuring shrimp tacos or spicy sausage.

As always, the Thursday Tap™ goes live at 5 p.m., with regular bar/restaurant service available.
