We’re getting ready for Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day with our annual counter-programming: It’s the return of Purim v. St. Pat’s! And we’re celebrating with a special Thursday Tap™, that will pit He’Brew Shmaltz Brewing Company’s Funky Jewbelation against Sly Fox Brewing Company’s Dunkel Lager.
Funky Jewbelation is an American Strong Ale, a blend of six ales aged in rye whiskey and bourbon barrels that weighs in at a whopping 9.8% ABV. Sly Fox’s Munich-style Dunkel Lager may seem the lightweight in comparison (at a sessionable 5.3% ABV, you’ll be wanting more than one of these!).
So come by after 5 p.m. and try one of these interesting and unusual beers. Or both! Nothing says random quasi-religious holiday like a great craft beer. As always, while supplies last, and regular bar/restaurant/oyster service is available.
