Special Tap: Stillwater Table Beer

We have another interesting and unusual beer that we’ll be tapping this evening. It’s a collaboration between Brian Strumke of Stillwater and Justin Phillips of Beer Table. “Table Beer” is a 4.7% Belgian Style American Ale born of a question Justin asks:

“What beer would I brew for myself to drink every day for the rest of my life? (Table Beer)”

This beer was brewed with larger scale production in mind to go well with food. So come on down tonight and pair Table Beer with one of our great menu items. It’s all pay as you go for as long as you want. Regular bar/restaurant menu available, too.

Go to L: MTA lines are back!

We just got word that the L is up and running. Would love to see you at Jimmy’s No. 43 tonight, tomorrow, the weekend, next week… What are you waiting for? Get the L over to Jimmy’s No. 43 stat! Welcome back Brooklyn!

Thursday Tap™ – Yeastie Boys’ Bye Bye Badman

We’re going back down under (where we’re pretty sure it’s the start of summer!) for today’s Thursday Tap™. It’s Yeastie Boys from New Zealand and their British Style Brown Ale (4.8% ABV), Bye Bye Badman. We’re tapping early, because we’re heading out to Hudson Terrace for our Modern Beefsteak & Spirits Benefit for the Rockaways (you can still come out tonight: Ticket link live until 3 p.m., or $45 at the door – cash or check made out to Rockaway Beach LLC).

And our regular bar/restaurant menu is available all night!

Help Our Neighbors & Support Downtown

Jimmy’s is back open post-Sandy. Join us for a few craft beers on election night to support our local bar, and donate $10* at the door for $5 domestic drafts. There will be snacks and a TV in the corner if you want to follow the polls (easy to ignore if you don’t).

We’ll be drinking the last of the Barrier Brewing Company beers we have on tap; Barrier was severely impacted out on Long Island and probably won’t be producing more beer this year. We’ll be rotating the following Barrier draughts:

  • Barrier, Mare Undarum Belgian Style IPA
  • Barrier, Rembrandt Porter
  • Barrier, Le Pete Smoked Wit
  • Barrier, Bulkhead Red IPA Plus
  • Plus, Wandering Star, Red Oktober

As an added bonus for the night, Baby Cake with Chris Cuzme, featuring vocals by Mariella Gonzalez will be playing throughout the evening.

Of course, our regular bar/restaurant service will be available. No $10 Tuesday Tastings this week.

*Suggested donation.
